This is a company that massively overachieved on its budget last year. So much so, that a new role has been created in the sales team to support this extra growth. We’re looking for an Account Manager – based anywhere in the UK – to manage existing customers, which are plentiful, as well as find new business opportunities. You’ll be armed with a great portfolio of ingredients, some of which are pretty technical, so a grounding in NPD before you’ve gone into sales would be beneficial but not essential.
Above all, we’re looking for personality! This is a role that can be pretty hectic at times, so we need someone who can step up when the pressure’s on and make sure their customer still feels special! No matter what, you’ll always be able to create excellent relationships with customers, getting under their skin to understand how they like to work. If that means taking them to the rugby on a weekend, you’ll be encouraged to do so – this won’t be a 9-5 all the time, but there’s great rewards for your hard work.
If you have 5+ years in food ingredient or flavour sales, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be selling a range here, so you’ll need to show that you’ve been successful in adapting in the past, whether that’s hydrocolloids, sweeteners, flavours, colours or anything else that requires a consultative sell.
