The Role

  • National Sales Manager – which has come about through promotion
  • Managing a team of 7 sales people (and growing) at a range of levels
  • Some hands-on key account management as well as an overall 8-digit P&L responsibility
  • Setting the strategy for the team in a time of significant (positive!) change
  • Giving the team the structure and implementing the processes required to sustain the current (very impressive) growth
  • Significant opportunity to progress within the business, and at a rapid rate

Who We’re Looking For

  • Someone who has worked in the B2B arena, selling tailor-made product solutions into the sports nutrition, supplement or health channel – this could be from either an ingredient or product perspective
  • A strategic operator – a proven history of being able to set a vision and motivate a sales team to achieve it
  • Someone who can identify improvements to processes and build a solid structure. Experience of a blue chip environment would be beneficial in this sense
  • Travel-wise, you’ll regularly be on the road, and will also be in the office at least a couple of days a week (south east England), so you’ll need flexibility with travel and nights away where necessary
  • Someone who demonstrates a “can-do” attitude, who can steer this business through the next stage of its highly ambitious growth plan
