Nutrition. Wellness. Supplements. Vitamins. Words we’re seeing everywhere at the moment. It’s a massive market and it’s going to continue to grow, with more and more brands fighting for space on the shelves of pharmacies, multiples and health retailers, as well as competing via the online channels. It was no massive surprise to those in the industry when Tej Lalvani announced Vitabiotics new range the other week – SuperDog, the first of the really big players to take their offering into the pet supplement channel.
Well, plenty more will follow, that’s for certain. Luckily, our client doesn’t have their own brand – instead, they work with brands to put together a product offering that will set them apart from their competition, and they’ve had huge success in the human supplements field, growing so much last year that most people reading this probably wouldn’t believe the figures.
Now, they’re recruiting – it’s time to take the plunge into the pet supplements sector, where there’s incredible scope to grow. We’re looking for someone who knows the pet food market inside out – who to talk to, where the gaps in the market are, what products various retailers or brand owners could be offering, how you can help them and why the relationship is going to be a win-win. You’ll be passionate about pet nutrition and you’ll be a whizz at developing new business opportunities. You’ll need to be in the office quite a bit, so you’ll be commutable to the north west or able to relocate.
That’s it – no catch, no small print. Just a unique opportunity to develop something from nothing in a company that encourages autonomy but provides everything you need to be successful. Where you take it is up to you, but we’re looking for someone who is going to set the bar high and reap the rewards!
