Operations Manager (Multi-Site), Southern UK

This is an international ingredients company with a strong presence in the meat industry. The business is expanding its UK operations and as such, this is a newly created position covering the various sites across the south of England. You will work autonomously, reporting to the Managing Director, whilst retaining strong links to key stakeholders at the company’s HQ in mainland Europe.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project management
• Ensuring optimal output
• Supervising and coaching the site managers
• Motivating the team to go above and beyond normal expectations
• Building strong relationships with customers and other key departments heads

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can demonstrate success in working for a fast-paced food company in the meat sector or a business supplying the meat industry. You’ll be a strong motivator with a positive attitude, possess great communication skills and be able to demonstrate good project management experience. A full driving licence, a willingness to spend nights away from home when necessary and significant experience of HACCP are also essential requirements.
