Business has been going through the roof for this company in 2020. Supplying tablets and capsules to a variety of customers, from retailers through to sports nutrition brands, as well as supplying a host of contract manufacturers in both the food supplement and pharma fields, there are plans now to kick on and take the company to the next level.
As a result, we’re looking for a Senior BDM who will get the best out of the existing customer portfolio (which is worth well into 7 digits), but also seek out new customers to showcase what the business can do for them (they are extremely competitive on price, whilst offering quick lead times and, where you’ll come in – able to offer exceptional service). Typical customers in this portfolio include major contract manufacturers for both food and pharma industries, as well as national and international players in the e-commerce field.
There are clear growth opportunities for your career in this role, but you’ll decide what direction to take this. Perhaps in the next few years you’d like to move into a more international sales role, or perhaps you’d like to bring an Account Executive in beneath you to handle smaller customers as you focus just on key accounts…that’s up to you and will be justified by your performance in growing the current sales value.
This is a home-based role, with regular national travel. We’ve been asked to find a candidate who can display at least 5 years’ B2B experience in the supplements/VMS field, with a track record of very impressive sales figures during that time.
