Business Development Manager, Europe (QSR Focus)
This is a rare chance to step into a newly created role with real freedom to shape it. You’ll sit at the heart of the fastest-growing part of a global food ingredients business, with significant investment and a largely open QSR landscape. From branded restaurant groups and fast food chains to the next generation of quick service challengers, if it’s a savoury out-of-home brand operating at scale, it should be on your radar.
We’re looking for a European Business Development Manager to build and grow partnerships with leading and emerging QSR brands across Europe. This is a growth role, not a maintenance one. You’ll manage a small customer portfolio, but the priority is developing new business, unlocking opportunities and turning insight into commercial results.
You’ll spend significant time with customers, understanding what matters to their brands and translating that into action internally. Innovation is a core part of the role: working closely with R&D, Marketing and Culinary teams to shape a pipeline that genuinely resonates with customers, including transferring and launching proven solutions from other markets globally.
You’ll also own the commercial agenda for your accounts and prospects, including forecasting, budgeting, pricing discussions and annual agreements, supported by pricing and supply chain colleagues. Internally, you’ll be the voice of the customer, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed. Externally, you’ll act as a trusted, credible partner to QSR decision-makers.
We’re looking for someone with 5+ years’ experience in a sales position, selling either savoury food products or food ingredients into multi-site QSR chains. You’ll bring strong business English, a genuine interest in food and market trends, and the confidence to operate across cultures. Pan-European experience is ideal, but strong fast food relationships in one key European market would also be of interest.
