

National Account Manager (Foodservice/B2B)

This is a B Corp certified business in growth. The Foodservice & B2B channels are a big part of that. Supported by a dedicated and highly experienced commercial leadership team, you’ll be given full P&L responsibility over the channel which currently equates to near 30% of company turnover.
Working with major wholesalers, end-operators and solutions developers, you will be responsible for both the management of existing business and for winning new business – a classic hunter/farmer combo!
If you are an NAM who is craving more responsibility, a chance to further establish yourself on £MM revenue accounts, or simply a channel expert keen to impart your experience of major foodservice accounts, then this could be for you.
Sure, this is a challenging role – NAM roles are never easy. You’ll need the tenacity to break down a few doors and drive customer relationships; the confidence to be able to negotiate hard; the communications skills to work with internal colleagues and external teams to build actionable, insight led plans. And finally, the drive to get things done and the resilience not to lose heart on the more challenging days.
We do need a season FMCG operator here. One that has significant experience managing accounts such as Brakes, Booker or Bidfood (just one of these three will do!)
