About the Role

If you’re the kind of person who loves structure, standards, and making things work properly — this one’s for you.

This is a fast-growing supplements business entering an exciting new era of innovation, brand building and international growth. As Head of Compliance & Regulatory, you’ll be the trusted expert who makes sure that everything that’s created is safe, legal and future-fit.

From shaping compliant formulations to keeping on top of every evolving regulation, you’ll have genuine influence across the business — working hand-in-hand with sales, marketing, supply chain and external partners. This is a role where your expertise really matters, and your voice will be heard.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the way on compliance – own EFSA, BRCGS and HACCP systems, and keep the business aligned with all relevant UK/EU regulations.
  • Champion best practice – oversee legal copy, packaging and label claims with confidence and clarity.
  • Stay audit-ready – manage documentation, approvals and technical files with precision.
  • Guide NPD – support compliant formulations and approve ingredients and suppliers.
  • Maintain quality standards – lead QA/QC processes, batch release, and incident management.
  • Drive sustainability – embed ESG principles into packaging, sourcing and product lifecycles.
  • Lead and inspire – manage and grow a small but mighty team, while helping shape culture at senior leadership level.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years in regulatory, technical or quality roles within food, supplements or FMCG.
  • Solid working knowledge of EFSA, BRCGS, HACCP and labelling/claims regulations.
  • Experience managing audits, documentation and third-party manufacturers.
  • Confident communicator who can influence across teams — from marketing to NPD.
  • A genuine interest in wellbeing, sustainability and building systems that scale.

Nice to have

  • Experience with EFSA dossiers or novel food applications.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks and sustainability certifications.

This is a chance to make your mark in a business where decisions are fast, projects are exciting, and your expertise has real impact.
